Therapy Success Story: Sandra’s Journey

We are thrilled to celebrate Sandra’s incredible rehabilitation journey and the amazing progress she has made with our therapy team at Tamarack Ridge!



Sandra was admitted with multiple medical conditions, including an orthopedic infection, and faced two hospital readmissions during her stay. When she arrived, she required moderate assistance with nearly all functional tasks—walking, transfers, bed mobility, and self-care. But Sandra had one goal in mind: returning home to her family.

With the support of our dedicated therapy team, nursing staff, and physicians, Sandra’s medical conditions were stabilized and her strength and independence steadily improved. Through consistent therapy and her own determination, she advanced to needing only supervision with transfers, gained better standing balance, and took an active role in her daily care.
